We want to keep you informed of important updates that may impact your account. In accordance with federal regulatory requirements, the following changes will take effect on July 1, 2025, and apply to deposit availability at all financial institutions:
Next-Day Availability Increase
The minimum amount of funds that must be made available by the next business day for certain check deposits will increase from $225 to $275.
Increased Cash Withdrawal Limit
The amount of funds available for cash withdrawal (or similar immediate means) will increase from $450 to $550.
Higher Thresholds for Special Deposit Types
The threshold amounts that apply to the following will increase from $5,525 to $6,725:
- New accounts
- Large deposits
- Repeatedly overdrawn accounts
These changes are part of routine updates under Regulation CC, which governs the availability of funds and aims to keep pace with inflation and evolving banking needs.
